Barnwell, a village with a population of 812, is located eight (8) km west of Taber, Alberta, and more than 40 km east of the city of Lethbridge. The community is located in the Municipal District of Taber, a diversified and prosperous agricultural area which includes vegetable and sugar beet agri-business along with the traditional agricultural production of grains, oilseeds, beets, sheep, hogs, and poultry.
