The Village Council wishes to extend appreciation to all those who volunteered their time and talents in helping to make our Pioneer Days another huge success. Commencing with a movie and Volleyball tournament and ending with the most amazing fireworks display ever, there was no lack of fun, food or entertainment throughout the day. Be sure to mark JULY 14 & 15, 2017 on your calendar and don’t miss this fun filled weekend next year.
Council would also like to get started on the plans for 2017 by establishing committees to plan and organize Pioneer Days 2017. Therefore we need volunteers, NOW!! This will be a new initiative to involve more community members and shift some of the responsibility off council. Please contact the Village office staff, or any Council member to express your interest in serving your community on one of these committees. It is hoped that these committees will be established by October, so plans can get underway for the best Pioneer Days ever in 2017. Remember that “Many hands make light work’, and it is volunteers that determine the success of a community.
